          The biggest in Myanmar is the government-run National Museum in the capital, located near the Kmudra circle, in Ottarathiri Township, Naypyidaw, constructed by ACE Construction Group Company. Total plot area of the museum is 34.79 acres (14.08 ha). The construction of the museum was started on 3 June 2010.The Museum was opened on 15 July 2015 .
          It consists of five buildings and a total floor area is 298865 sq.ft.These are 1. Primate and Natural history exhibition room, 2. Stone age, bronze age and iron age exhibition room, 3. Pyu period exhibition room, 4. Bagan period exhibition room, 5. Pinya period, Innwa period, Hanthawaddy period and Mrauk U period exhibition room, 6. Konbaung and Yadanabon period exhibition room, 7.
